Johnson Funeral Home Johnson Funeral Home was established in 1870 by Arthur Berriman Johnson. He then opened his own funeral home.

After returning home from the Civil War, he worked for a short time with a local undertaker. Family owned and operated for six generations, our mission remains to support each and every family with personalized care.

Johnson Funeral Home makes donation to C.E.F.S. Meals on Wheels. Meals on wheels serves Effingham County and surrounding communities and roughly serves 700 individuals. Each individual is approximately $100 per month. Volunteers are always needed to help distribute meals and enjoy light conversations with recipients.
