Today, we pause to remember. ❤️🇺🇸

Residents, team members, guests, and members of the local community gathered at Brandon Wilde to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

At the center of the ceremony was a powerful first-person account from retired New York City Police Department Detective Wayne Nero, father of Brandon Wilde Director of Environmental Services and Security, Chassidy Nero.

Among those in attendance was resident Ann Miller, a former World Trade Center employee, who proudly wore her World Trade Center shirt and employee badge, serving as a powerful reminder of both the heartbreak and the resilience that followed.

Through the Changing of the Flag Ceremony, a memorial service, the participation of local firefighters, and Wayne's story, we honored not only those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, but also the first responders and countless individuals whose service and sacrifices continued long after that day.
