Exeter Hospital was proud to sponsor the Children's Parade at the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce's Children's Festival! 💙

Following the parade, Michelle Savoie, Chief Nursing Officer at Exeter Hospital, addressed attendees and helped celebrate a day dedicated to children, families, and community connection. It was wonderful to see so many participants and spectators come together for this cherished Hampton tradition.

Events like the Children's Festival create opportunities to build stronger, healthier communities, and Exeter Hospital is honored to support the families and organizations that make the Seacoast such a special place to live and work.

Mental health is a community effort. 💙

That's why Exeter Hospital is sponsoring NAMIWalks New Hampshire and supporting NAMI NH's mission to reduce stigma and expand access to mental health care.

At the 2026 Walk Kickoff Breakfast, Sarah Slocum, MD, consultation-liaison psychiatrist at Exeter Hospital, spoke about the urgent need to better support children and teens facing mental health challenges.

As Dr. Slocum shared, "Mental health support shouldn't be a referral to some future appointment — it should be part of the care team." By integrating behavioral health services into pediatric care, Exeter Hospital and CORE Physicians are helping make mental health care more accessible.

Together, we can help ensure mental health care is part of every child's care journey!

Happy World Breastfeeding Week from all of us at The Family Center!

We proudly celebrate the families we serve and our dedicated team who support them every step of the way.

From pregnancy through newborn days and beyond, our compassionate staff is honored to provide education and support. We offer a prenatal breastfeeding class, inpatient lactation support, knowledgeable Mother-Baby team, complimentary home visit after discharge, weekly drop in support group and 1:1 outpatient appointments.

Together, we are helping give families healthy start and building a stronger, healthier community!
