One of the most common things we hear from parents who call in is: "My child really likes school, but they'd also benefit from ABA. Is there a way to do both?"

At Spark, our answer is YES! When a child is thriving in school but could still benefit from ABA, a part-time schedule is often the best fit. Our BCBAs look at the whole picture when assessing a new client and recommend the schedule that will work best for your child. We’re excited to partner with Detroit PBS Kids for Be My Neighbor Day on August 19!

Join us at Eastern Market Shed #3 (2698 Russell Street) from 12–3 PM for this free, all-ages event.
What to expect at the event:
• Photo ops and dance parties with Daniel Tiger!
• Interactive learning activities, music, and entertainment.
• Free resources, preschool enrollment, a Scholastic Book Fair, and more.

Join us for the Livonia AIR Pool Party 4:30-6:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, part of Livonia AIR (Adaptive Inclusive Recreation), a program that offers inclusive events and activities for individuals with special needs. Designed for participants ages 6 and older, this sensory-friendly pool party provides a fun, welcoming environment where everyone can enjoy water games, floating fun, music, free swim, and optional crafts at their own pace. Quiet spaces and accommodations will be available to support participants as needed, with a focus on socialization, inclusion, and creating positive community connections. Caregivers are strongly encouraged to attend and may participate free of charge. Whether you're looking to make new friends, try something new, or simply enjoy a relaxing day in the pool, everyone is welcome to join the fun.

This program is $5 per participant, and it will be held at the Kirksey Recreation Center's Leisure Pool.
