Sorry we haven’t posted as much the past couple of days! ❤️ We’ve been a little busy behind the scenes because we are officially in the middle of the inspection process for our BABY ROOM! 👶🍼✨
We are getting closer and closer, and we are SO excited for this next chapter at Enchanted Learning Academy! 🏰💕

We’ll be doing some fun team-building activities that encourage our students to cheer each other on, take turns, problem-solve, and learn that sometimes things are even better when we do them together! 🥰

🐉💕 Dragon Group – Friendship Week! 💕🐉
The Dragon Group had a fun-filled morning all about friendship! 🫶

🎨 First, they drew a picture of one of their friends, thinking about what makes that friend special!

🥔 Next up was a game of Hot Potato! We practiced taking turns, following directions, and being good sports while having lots of laughs! 😂

📚 We finished up with independent reading time, giving our Dragons a chance to slow down, explore their books, and practice looking through the pages independently.

🦉💕 Owl Group – Friendship Week! 💕🦉

The Owl Group started off today by talking about what it means to be a good friend! 🫶 We talked about things we should do with our friends—use kind words, share, help each other, take turns, and include everyone. We also talked about things we shouldn’t do to our friends, like hitting, taking toys, leaving someone out, or using unkind words.

Then, each Owl paired up with a friend to color a friendship hat together! 🎨👒 They had to share their crayons, take turns, and work together to create their special hats.

We’re learning that being a good friend takes kindness, sharing, and teamwork! 🦉💗

🧠✨ Knight Group Brain Boost! ✨🧠

Today, the Knight Group started their Brain Boost by working on our numbers! 🔢 Ms. Gabby gave each student a number, and they had to search around the room to find exactly that many toys.

🧸🚗🧩 This helped us practice counting, number recognition, and following directions!
Since our focus this week is friendship, we also talked about kind words vs. unkind words. 💕 We discussed words that make our friends feel happy and included, as well as words that can hurt someone's feelings. Our Knights practiced thinking about how our words can make others feel and ways we can be a good friend. 🫶

Next, we played our Number Match Game, matching numbers with the correct amounts! 🎯🔢

A great morning of working our brains AND learning how to be kind friends! 🏰❤️

We’ve been working so hard to get everything ready, and we’re so excited to finally say it’s complete! 🥹❤️

🦉🎉 Big wins for our Owl Group today!
Our Owl Group has been working SO hard on potty training, and today EVERYONE went potty! 👏🚽❤️ So, of course, we had to celebrate… they went to the tattoo shop! 😂🖤
Our little “tattoo artists” practiced tracing lines and shapes, working on pencil control and fine motor skills. ✏️✨
Then we finished up with some art and painted sunbathers! 🎨☀️
Potty training, fine motor skills, and a trip to the “tattoo shop”… just another day with the Owl Group! 😂🦉❤️
