Oktoberfest weekend, and we brought the tables downtown.

Kristen, Faith and Sebastian spent Saturday giving chair massage and foot work in the middle of the festival — which is exactly the right place for it. A day of standing on pavement is hard on feet and shoulders.

"I was diagnosed with bi-lateral peripheral neuropathy in my feet 23 years ago. Each doctor I saw told me there was nothing I could do... so I've lived with the pain... until Dr Hazel. She's been releasing the fascia in my feet, gastrocnemius and soleus (calves). Already I'm experiencing tremendous relief.

I've also had a knot in my neck for 2.5 years. Three other practitioners worked on it with no release. After one session she released the knot without directly working on the knot, but by releasing the connecting fascia.

My Defense Against the Dark Arts: medical qi gong, meditation and mindset class begins today. I promised my patients and students who could not come that I would record it. I have been asked to teach this for decades but this is the first time I have accepted the responsibility. There are many kinds of negative forces that disrupt our lives and health, it is a tricky business and includes physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects. Let me know if I should post clips from the event or if you think this sort of class is helpful in the world today. I have taught medical curriculum in medical schools and allied health as well as mediation in yoga studios, but this class is dedicated to the mental and emotional health that has a spiritual foundation.

I am starting a roadtrip tomorrow to go to fabulous natural places across the country and do transformational practices of Qi gong, meditation, nature cure, yoga, and natural alchemy all over the United States.
