Homeschooling military families (Arizona)

Military homeschooling/private school students PCSing to Arizona are generally eligible for "non-public school" funding that ranges from $6,000-$9,000 per year and more for students with disabilities.

Many military families PCSing here don't learn about this opportunity until they've almost completed a whole school year and missed out on lots of money! So, I am trying to spread the word by making this webpage to help navigate it.

From day one, she has demonstrated strong clinical competence, endless patience, and genuine compassion for the clients and families we serve. She has a natural ability to build trust and rapport through play while delivering evidence-based intervention with confidence.

She has also shown a remarkable talent for identifying and treating Childhood Apraxia of Speech, thoughtfully adapting her approach to meet each child’s unique needs and helping them find their voice.

“Articulation therapy hits different out here in the mud kitchen.”

Nature-based doesn’t mean less structured, it means more meaningful.

While this activity looks like play, there’s a lot of evidence-based practice happening:

Children learn best when they are engaged. Our job as therapists is to blend clinical expertise with meaningful experiences that make communication come alive.

If you’re new to NatureTalks, Muddy Hands Playgroup™ is a free, inclusive playgroup created to enrich young children through play… not instruction or therapy.

Sessions are held in nature and designed by child development professionals, but the experience feels relaxed, welcoming, and child-led. Caregivers are always welcome to join in, observe, and connect with other families.
