Nonprofit clinic providing trauma informed, accessible acupuncture, massage and integrative medicine in a comfortable community setting.

Stuck Community Acupuncture, Inc is an Arizona Nonprofit association currently awaiting federal 501c3 status. What that means is that no one person owns the clinic, the clinic is owned by the community and overseen by a board of directors. We decided to become a nonprofit to separate the issue of money from healthcare. We believe acupuncture should be available to everyone as a routine health care

option. For this reason, we practice community-supported acupuncture, a communal style of treatment with a sliding scale of payment affordable to most every income.

We had 8 AAT Trainees complete their training this past week, coming from Flagstaff, Phoenix, Prescott and Tucson! We are so excited to see the amount of healing that will be spread across Arizona.
One of our trainees brought everyone magic needle wands; extendable magnetic wands that help locate acupuncture pins that have fallen onto clothes, chairs, the ground, etc.

Stuck and our Mobile AcuDetox team are incredibly grateful to be in a partnership with Health First Foundation. Dr. Chetcuti is here with Executive Director Mark Urick. Health First's generous support of Stuck Community Acupuncture is helping us continue to expand access to affordable, community-centered healthcare throughout northern Arizona.

Our NAU intern Liv has graduated and is moving at the end of the month! We'll miss her a lot, but that also means we are looking for a new front desk and admin assistant! We are open on Thursdays AND have a new L.Ac.! To celebrate, we are doing $30 treatments every Thursday in July! For some of you, Tally may be a familiar face as she's subbed for Dr. Chetcuti before, but if not, here are some things to get to know her!
Tally Thomas, L.Ac., is a licensed acupuncturist and practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree at Northern Arizona University, which included a year abroad in China. She later pursued her master's in TCM at one of the founding TCM schools in the United States; Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.
Tally's passions are in supporting women in all cycles of life, being a cofounder of Flagstaff Birth Collective. She is also a busy mama of three who loves being in nature, dancing, singing, and building community.

This month's staff spotlight is Aspen Tinger!

Aspen is our AAT who works the Flagstaff mobile unit! If you ever see the Project PINS van out and about, they're probably there! Aspen started out as a youth volunteer, took the AAT Training course, and is now out doing tremendous good for our community.

We asked them some questions about themselves; read more below!

*How did you get involved at Stuck?
"Two years ago, I got acupuncture for the first time, and it changed my life. When I saw the AAT training program, I knew I wanted to learn a new and accessible skill to help myself and my community."

*What are your hobbies outside of work?
"Currently, I am learning how to play the cello, but outside of that, I enjoy going dancing, foraging for teas and medicines, reading, and just being outside in general."

*What are some of your favorite places around Flagstaff?
"I love Morning Glory Cafe, and some of my favorite hiking trails are Sandy Sweep and the Bootlegger Creek swing."
