We are still looking to add another MT-BC to our Orlando area team! Our waitlist for in-home sessions in Orange County and Osceola County continues to grow, so while we currently have a part-time caseload, it is 3/4 of the way to full time already!

- Competitive pay based on experience
-1099 direct service rates between $42-$56/hour based on education and experience
-Indirect/consultative rates up to $26/hour

Hello! My name Maritza Cedeño and I am the new Intern at the Lee County-Fort Myers Studio. I was born and raised in Ecuador, moved to the USA in 2001 and to Florida in 2013. I got my AA degree in 2023 from Florida Southwestern State College, Fort Myers, FL, and I will be graduating with a BMT in Music Therapy in December of 2026 from Florida Gulf Coast University, Estero, FL. I am currently an active performer in the SWFL area. My favorite pastimes/self-care hobbies are performing live, dancing, gardening, spending time with my family and cats. A fun fact about me is that I am a first-generation college student and I’m in my mid 40s. I love Music Therapy because of the connection/relationship that develops between the therapist and the participants during sessions, and because it’s the perfect combination between making music and helping others.

"Hello everyone! My name is Madelaine Snively, and I am so excited to start my internship at Florida Music Therapy! I grew up near Cleveland, Ohio, and studied at Cleveland State University. In my free time, I enjoy cooking different foods, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family. I also enjoy different outdoor activities such as walking on the beach or paddleboarding down different streams. Some of my favorite artists/bands include Bôa, Laura Marling, Nick Drake, Flyte, and more! Music is such an important part of my life, and I am looking forward to sharing that love with others."
