☀️ Beat the Heat: Protect Yourself from Heat Exhaustion ☀️

As temperatures rise, so does the risk of heat-related illness. Heat exhaustion occurs when your body overheats and can't cool itself properly. If left untreated, it can progress to the more serious condition of heat stroke.

🚨 Warning Signs of Heat Exhaustion:
✅ Heavy sweating
✅ Dizziness or lightheadedness
✅ Headache
✅ Nausea or vomiting
✅ Muscle cramps
✅ Weakness or fatigue
✅ Cool, pale, clammy skin

💡 How to Stay Safe in the Heat:
💧 Drink plenty of water throughout the day—even before you feel thirsty.
🧢 Wear lightweight, loose-fitting, light-colored clothing.
🌳 Take frequent breaks in the shade or air conditioning.
☀️ Avoid strenuous outdoor activities during the hottest hours (typically 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
🍉 Eat hydrating foods like fruits and vegetables.
👥 Check on older adults, young children, and anyone with chronic health conditions.

❗If you or someone else experiences signs of heat exhaustion, move to a cool location, drink water, loosen clothing, and apply cool compresses. Seek medical attention if symptoms worsen or do not improve.

Your health is our priority. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and enjoy summer safely!

🌞💙

📣 Important Update from Access Health
We want to share an important update about an upcoming system change designed to improve your experience with us.

Starting May 30, Access Health will transition to a new electronic health record (EHR) and billing system. 💻

What this means for you:
🔹 Visits that take place before May 30 will remain in our current system
🔹 Visits on or after May 30 will be recorded in our new system

Because of this transition:
💳 You may receive two separate billing statements—one for visits before May 30 and one for visits after
💳 Payments will also be processed through two different systems, depending on the date of service

We understand this may be a change, and we’re here to help make the process as smooth as possible. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team.

Thank you for your understanding and for trusting Access Health with your care! 💙
