This is a BIG win for Fort Wayne! 💚

For a long time, we’ve hoped to see PulsePoint and NEAR come to our community, and we are so excited that it’s happening!

A huge thank you to our friends at Three Rivers Ambulance Authority for bringing this life-saving initiative to our area and for hosting such an awesome hands-on CPR event today at Parkview Field.

PulsePoint is about getting help where it’s needed, faster. PulsePoint Respond can alert CPR-trained individuals nearby when someone needs help, while PulsePoint AED allows anyone to help identify and register AEDs throughout our community so they can be found when every second counts.

We’re especially excited to help get AEDs registered throughout the community. An AED can only save a life if someone can find it when it’s needed.

More AEDs registered. More people trained in CPR. More people ready to respond.

Thank you, TRAA, for leading the charge. We’re so excited to be part of building a safer, stronger Fort Wayne together! 💚

We’re excited about what our friends at Three Rivers Ambulance Authority are doing for our community!

We’re especially excited to see NEAR/PulsePoint coming to our area and the continued focus on CPR, AED awareness, and getting lifesaving resources where they’re needed.

Summit CPR & Safety will be at Parkview Field tomorrow to support the launch, and we’d love to see you there! 💚

Great things happening for a safer Fort Wayne!

❤️ It only takes one person to save a life. Could that person be you?

Join Three Rivers Ambulance Authority on Tuesday, August 11 at 9:30 a.m. at Parkview Field as we launch NEAR (formerly PulsePoint) and provide FREE Hands-Only CPR training for our community.

Together, we can help save more lives before first responders arrive.

We love getting the chance to stop in and catch up with our customers! 💚

We recently stopped by Strahm Building Solutions to replace the pads on their AED and make sure everything was rescue ready. Their team also recently completed their CPR certification with us!

It’s always great to see customers taking the extra steps to keep their team prepared and their AED ready when it matters most.

Thanks, Strahm, for continuing to trust Summit CPR & Safety! 💚

Honored to be included by Parkview Health as a local CPR training resource. 💚 Every person who learns CPR is one more person prepared to save a life.

💚CPR Saves Lives – Be Ready to Act
Every year in the U.S.:
436,000 people die from cardiac arrest
Over 350,000 cardiac arrests happen outside of hospitals

📍 Where Does It Happen?
73.4% at home
16.3% in public places
10.3% in nursing homes

Most cardiac arrests happen at home, meaning the person who needs help could be someone you love.

Why CPR Matters:
Bystander CPR can double or even triple survival chances
Brain damage can begin within 4–6 minutes without oxygen
Immediate action saves lives

What To Do
Call 911 immediately
Push hard and fast in the center of the chest
Rate: 100–120 compressions per minute
Use an AED (defibrillator) if available

You Can Make a Difference

You don’t need to be a healthcare professional
Hands‑only CPR is simple and effective
Taking a CPR class could help you save a life

Local training opportunities include:
• Hoosier Heart CPR LLC in Columbia City
• SureFire CPR in Fort Wayne
• Summit CPR & Safety, Inc. in Fort Wayne

You can also find American Heart Association CPR, AED, First Aid, BLS, ACLS, and PALS classes near you using the official class locator: https://cpr.heart.org

Remember:
Bystander CPR can double or even triple a person’s chance of surviving cardiac arrest. If you’ve ever thought about learning CPR—or it’s time for a renewal—now is the perfect time. The life you save will most likely be someone you know.

The best kind of service call. 🐾💚

Today we stopped by Humane Fort Wayne to replace expired AED supplies and make sure their device is ready if it’s ever needed.

Preventive maintenance is one of the most important parts of owning an AED. Fresh pads, a good battery, and regular checks help ensure the device is ready when every second counts.

As a bonus, we got to meet a few adorable pups while we were there. We’d call that a pretty great day! 🐶

Thank you, Humane Fort Wayne, for all you do for our community. 💚

An AED, quick action, and trained responders helped save a life this weekend in Fort Wayne.

AEDs save lives, but only if they’re accessible, maintained, and ready when needed. Stories like this are why we’re passionate about helping organizations prepare for the unexpected. 💚

The trooper helped the chief with CPR and used an AED to deliver life-saving shocks.
