A White Mass was celebrated at St. Patrick's Cathedral honoring the Carmelite Sisters who, because of Congregational numbers, are withdrawing from Mary Manning Walsh Home after 74 years of service.

The White Mass, named for the color worn by those in the healing profession of medicine, gathers health care professionals under the patronage of St. Luke to ask God’s blessing upon the patient doctor, nurse, and caregiver alike. In the midst of Nursing Home Week, St Patrick's Manor had its annual state licensing survey. It was a week-long inspection of staff, facilities, paperwork and so many other areas by a team from the MA Dept of Public Health.

While the official summary paperwork looks a little underwhelming, we're thrilled to share the survey team found the facility to be in compliance with all state requirements and cited NO DEFICIENCIES!

We're incredibly proud of our entire team and all they do to make St. Patrick's Manor the amazing place it is. Thank you to everyone who works year 'round to take care of our residents, families, staff, facilities and so much more.
