On Thursday we enjoyed our first monthly "Cooking with Case" event. Since this week was the start of the official NFL season, we kicked things off with our homemade pimento cheese balls. We enjoyed mixing all the ingredients and enjoying our very own little cheesy balls of joy - and of course with a sweet football cookie chaser... Happy Labor Day! We had a Patriotic theme for multiple Arts & Crafts this morning. We started off by painting flag flowers, stars and hearts in beautiful hues of red, white and blue. We then ventured into wooden bracelet and necklace making and to cap it off we painted some animals. We also got to show off our red, white and blue beads! Yesterday, we began saying goodbye to the Summer Season by having an End of Summer Beach Party! Residents enjoyed a "sand dessert" that may have dyed some tongues blue as well as a refreshing Caribbean beverage. We dressed up in our leis as well as edible shark candy bracelets. What a perfect way to end our summer season. Stay tuned later this month as we begin to welcome in the Autumn season and FOOTBALL! 🌴🍹🏖👙😎
