Happy Pride Week! Every day this week, we will be celebrating a different color of the rainbow. Today's color is purple, which is the color of spirit, thought to connect us to the spiritual realm.

Our culinary team served beets as their featured purple dish! Our Residents love beets and even request them!

We also made blackberry and blueberry smoothies today and added a little local honey!

Seventy years. Seven decades of shared mornings, family dinners, laughter, challenges, milestones, and countless memories. Today we celebrate a remarkable love story built on commitment, friendship, and a lifetime of choosing one another. Happy 70th Anniversary to a couple whose love continues to inspire everyone around them.

They were together for seven years before they got married. They wrote over a thousand letters to one another. They attended separate colleges. Their love remained strong. Seventy years of marriage. Seventy-seven years of shared dreams, quiet moments, family traditions, and a love that stood the test of time.

We loved celebrating you Herb & Bennie! What a beautiful love story! ❤️

Our culinary team served Blueberry Cheesecake as their featured blue dish. Delicious!

We came together to celebrate strength, hope, and survivorship during our Cancer Awareness celebration. 🎗️

While our residents enjoyed being serenaded by the talented Chuck Cannon, Misty beautifully painted a special piece inspired by the occasion. Residents also had the opportunity to honor loved ones and survivors by sharing their names to be added to our Tree of Hope— a meaningful reminder of the courage, love, and lives touched by cancer.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this such a heartfelt and memorable event. 💜

Happy Pride Week! Every day this week, we will be celebrating a different color of the rainbow. Today's color is yellow, which is a symbol for sunlight and is said to stimulate new ideas and thoughts.

Our culinary team created this happy Lemon Bar dessert as their featured yellow dish!

We also celebrated with some lemonade today!

On a hot, hot afternoon we cooled off with our Ice Cream Parfaits as a part of our Pride Week. Two clear favorites though. Bananas with whipped cream and Nilla Wafers (and those became a snack themselves) and a Banana Split.

They told me they want more afternoons like this during the Summer!
