Fellowship Spotlight: Class of 2026 - Today we are proud to spotlight one of our 2026 fellowship graduates, Dr. Catherine Loftus.

During her Advanced Otology fellowship with the University of Florida Department of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery, Dr. Loftus contributed to excellence in patient care, education, and clinical innovation while advancing her specialized training in Otology.

As she begins the next chapter of her career at the University of Connecticut, we congratulate her on this important milestone and thank her for her contributions to our department.

Chief Resident Spotlight: Class of 2026 - Today we are proud to spotlight one of our 2026 Chief Resident graduates, Dr. Janyn Quiz.

Over the past five years, Dr. Quiz has been an integral member of the University of Florida Department of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery residency program, demonstrating excellence in patient care, education, and leadership.

As she graduates and begins the next chapter of her career with Raleigh Capitol Ear, Nose & Throat in Raleigh, North Carolina, we congratulate her on this significant milestone and thank her for her many contributions to our department.

Maria has been selected by the review committee as a predoctoral fellow for the Training Program in Chemosensory Science T32 — an incredible achievement and recognition of her hard work, dedication, and potential as a researcher.
