There are classes that feel really good, leaving you grounded and strong.
Some energizing and vibrant, leaving you feeling uplifted.
Some where you are like "what the hell did I just go through?" and you're more off center than before you stepped on the mat.
Then, there are classes where the energy weaved through each breath, each cue, and shape strips away the weight you've been carrying and opens space for you to really sink into presence. To be held for a moment.
Space for you to put it down. The shoulders. The burden. The mind and racing thoughts.
The weight of the body melting away after the movement. The flow, a mantra itself, guiding you to a space of deep peace and equanimity.
This evening's class took us there. Like a coming home.
Bodies moving, flowing, anchored into mats and the moment. Minds calm and clear. Hearts open and curious.
The energy was palpable. And my heart is so grateful to be here ~ to witness the beautiful people who step onto these mats, connect deeper with themselves.
As yogic practitioners, we are not instructors. We are conduits. Holding space for something greater to move through us. Even if that is simply a deeper breath ~
What a blessing to be here, right now.
Yoga can be whatever you need it to be. You dont need any experience. You dont even need a mat.
You just show up. As you are, anxious, excited, exhausted, or simply over it all ~ allowing the practice to arrive and hold you in each moment.
What a beautiful evening with this crew and this Ta**us full moon 🤍
So much gratitude.
