Yesterday, we celebrated the start of CNA Week with a game of all-play Bingo. HWC Companions joined residents in a game of Bingo called by Exec. Director Tom. It was nice to have an opportunity to spend quality time together. Thank You to all the HWC Companions - we appreciate how much and how well you care for our Residents ❤!

HWC held a very special celebration today for two very special women. Arlene & Lorraine are both turning 101 years young this month, and we recognized them during a special luncheon event. Arlene, Lorraine and members of their families enjoyed lunch alongside State Senator Peter J. Durant, Nolan from State Representative Jon Zlotnik's office and Mayor Michael J. Nicholson. Our dignified guests each gave a speech, and Arlene & Lorraine received citations. Happy 101st Birthdays Arlene and Lorraine - you both amaze us each day with your zest for life!

At their quarterly Balance Clinic for our residents, PT's Phil and Mike encouraged everyone to stand up and move! Participants tried their luck at beanbag bowling and it was a strike! Our crafty residents also worked on painting "name rocks" for our outdoor gardens, as well as creating banners for our Oktoberfest-themed open house coming up on June 18th.
