I want to know what makes you pick something off the shelf and take it home forever. How about with art? Have you identified something that makes art resonate with you, or is it just a spark you can't explain?

Tell me your answer; I'll tell you mine.

"Jill's Heart" is today's feature.

Longer evenings are good for slowing down with something worth looking at. Might I suggest "Retro Smokies" as you take a beat?

Quick fall reminder: clearing one shelf or one wall now makes the whole house easier to decorate once the holidays actually hit. What are you making room for this year?

Would "3674394B-DACC-4CC7-9552-3DDA3382D4C0 1 201 a" make a good holiday conversation piece?

A quick interior note for the season: don't forget warmer textiles this month, like wool throws, wood tones, deeper colors, and striking monochromes.

What's your favorite fall item to display, or decor tip you live by?

Would "Venice Vegabond" fit your style?

October is historically the season of change. What changed for you this year? As we reflect on some art together this morning, I'd like to know.

Epiphanies, moves, whatever it may be.

And if you're looking to change up your space, you could consider today's feature, "Ring of Fire" or the other work in my online gallery.

Between apple picking and pulling out the flannel, fall is the first step towards nesting season. That makes how a home feels extra important.

There's still time to use code FALLEVENT26 for 20% off on "Walls around History" and my available artwork during the Fall Collector Event.
