We’re excited to share that Carson Valley Health has received a Five-Star Hospital Quality Rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)! Only two hospitals in northern Nevada—and just three in the whole state—earned this honor, and we’re proud to be one of them.

This puts CVH among just 384 hospitals nationwide to earn this recognition. The CMS Star Rating looks at real data on safety, outcomes, and quality of care so you can feel confident choosing us for your family’s care.

This national honor simply confirms what our patients already know: our nurses, doctors, and staff are here for you and our community. 💙

This week, Barton Health, Carson Valley Health, and Tahoe Orthopedics & Sports Medicine worked together to offer free sports physicals for Douglas High School athletes before next year’s sports seasons.

By helping students stay healthy, active, and ready to compete, we support local families and build a stronger community together.

What a weekend at Hot Air for Hope - Carson Valley Balloon Festival 🔥🎈💙

Early morning balloon launches and community connection filled the weekend, and even the windy conditions couldn't take away from the incredible support and spirit surrounding such a meaningful cause.

Hot Air for Hope helps support Douglas Center for Hope and Healing and its mission of providing mental health resources, support, and hope for people in our community. The event also helps support the traditions that bring the Carson Valley together year after year.

Weekends like this are a reminder that we are stronger together💪 When a community shows up for one another, supports mental wellness, and creates space for connection and hope, it makes a real difference.
