Here’s a clean caption:

Men’s fellowship was powerful last night — iron sharpening iron through work, prayer, discipline, and brotherhood. This is what it looks like when men commit to leveling up mentally, physically, spiritually, and in community.

Shoutout to Nick Fellows for the vision, leadership, and space to build. Shoutout to G7 Health Club for hosting and pouring into men who are trying to grow, heal, and walk with purpose. P25 is honored to be connected to this movement.

March 25, 2026 should not pass quietly.

Yesterday, the United Nations adopted a resolution declaring the transatlantic trafficking of enslaved Africans and racialized chattel enslavement to be “the gravest crime against humanity.” The vote was 123 in favor, 3 against, and 52 abstentions.

Let that settle in.

For those who keep telling Black people that racism is over, that our struggle is imagined, that our wounds are exaggerated, this moment stands as a witness against that lie. Even when so much media here refuses to tell the truth about our condition, the truth still rises.

And let us be clear: the United States voted against that resolution.

So when we speak of generational trauma, stolen dignity, fractured families, economic plunder, cultural erasure, and the ongoing struggle for liberation, we are not inventing ghosts. We are naming history, and we are naming the living consequences of history.

This should affirm your life.
Your parents’ life.
Your ancestors’ life.
Your children’s life.

God does not dismiss the suffering of a people. He is near to the brokenhearted, and He is not blind to injustice.

As James Cone wrote, “Truth is divine action entering our lives and creating the human action of liberation.”

And as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. wrote, “Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed.”

So no, we will not bow our minds.
We will not surrender our memory.
We will not let the enemy subjugate our thinking and blind us to who we are.

Peter called us a royal priesthood. That means we do not live as a broken people without dignity, voice, or calling. We stand. We remember. We tell the truth. We labor for justice. And we move forward with the strength of those whom God has not forgotten.

Watch the video. Read the vote. Tell the truth.

God bless.

State of Black America and the Church!

03/09/2026

There is a burden growing in me.

Black America does church well, but too often we do not do Christ well.

We gather. We celebrate. We know the language. We know the culture. We know the rhythm of the service. But many of us are still not living as a true body—bearing one another’s burdens, walking in holiness, strengthening one another, and living with real spiritual accountability.

That is part of why so many people are exhausted, divided, anxious, addicted, and spiritually malnourished.

Mental health matters. Deeply. But healing will never be complete if we only address the mind and ignore the soul. We do not just need better coping. We need deeper communion with God. We do not just need awareness. We need transformation. We do not just need community events. We need covenant community.

Spiritual consciousness has to rise.

We are temples, not trash bins.
We are called to holiness, not just survival.
We are called to communion, not just attendance.
We are called to Christ, not just church culture.

P25 is growing in my heart as more than a mental health conversation. It is about helping people confront the spiritual, emotional, and cultural realities that keep us fragmented and powerless. Healing has to involve truth. Healing has to involve discipline. Healing has to involve Christ.

We do not need more performance.
We need power.
We do not need more image.
We need wholeness.
We do not need more religion without fruit.
We need Christ formed in us.

That is where I’m headed.
And that is the conversation I’m committed to having.
