The human body has an innate capacity to be healthy- it simply needs the right too

ls. Therefore, I utilize nutrition to support your unique needs in order to create health and vitality, not treat sickness. Through in-depth evaluation and tailored nutrition, together we create a personalized plan that works best for your body, lifestyle, and goals.

Okay, *actual* studies may or may not exist…

But tell me I'm wrong.

Plus, my years of experience working with moms and being a mom can 1,000% confirm.

I love me some scientific research, but we don’t need it to tell us some things, right?

I'm writing this during what *should* be nap-time,

But he only slept for 35 minutes.

So when I say I get it, I GET IT. 🫠

If you're feeling so damn tired and are more easily overwhelmed and stressed in this season, that's so valid.

Especially if you have other kids, or maybe you're pregnant or even have a newborn, too.

But that only means your minerals and energy and nutrition are more important!

You're eating anyway, right? (Well, I hope. And not just cold chicken nuggets and PB&J crusts).

You might be taking some supplements already, too.

Why not learn how to adjust what you're already doing to meet your needs even better? So you can have more energy to keep up with them and resources to handle the stress?

⬇️ Comment "deep dig" for the link to book your 1:1 consult and get your minerals tested!

(Oh yeah, and you're doing a great job. Go take a deep breath and maybe put your feet up for a few. ❤️)

Just a quick little list 😉

(Who am I kidding, this is just a snippet of a much longer one...)

And hey I am more than happy to dive more into any of these!

But ultimately, if there's anything I've learned in my 10+ years in practice, it's that the over-hyped wellness gadgets and supplements, seemingly too-good-to-be-true "hacks," quick fixes, throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks, and a revolving door of trends don't do much of anything to move the needle long term.

And it may not be flashy or "cool," but the truth is that the basics matter, prioritizing foundations is key before you do literally anything else, and addressing root causes is best done under the guidance of a trained + experienced practitioner (not an influencer who gets a commission on the all-in-one parasite cleanse she's selling or, more importantly, AI).

Plus, we moms literally do not have the time or energy to waste. We need the stuff that actually works, and is actually doable in the context of our lives.

I just want you to feel good NOW and in 20, 30, 40 years, too (and direct your $ towards what's worth it...).

Hit me up if you need real support + recommendations on was to prioritize based on YOUR body and goals. 😉

Ah, the dreaded annual physical.

I’ve collected quite a few interesting stories from doctors’ visits in the past, let me tell you. 😥

(i.e., One who prescribed a medical weight loss shake program even though I mentioned nothing about wanting to lose weight. Another who told me thyroid antibodies don’t matter if TSH was in range (not true). Another who said I should eat low carb and cut out all meat. Another who told me to “just take biotin” when my hair was falling out.)

So to say I’ve been burned is an understatement— and I know many of you have, too.

Women come to me all the time who have been dismissed by doctors, given really bad nutrition advice, or are simply craving MORE beyond a rushed appointment where it’s literally impossible to talk about the full story of their health and wellness habits.

So I finally found one I *like* (read: I had a fairly neutral experience and got what I needed out of the appointment), and wanted to share a few things I feel helped make that happen.

(Side note: A male doctor just wasn't my personal preference, so I asked to switch when another in the practice has an opening. He was very kind and thorough but I just feel more comfortable with a female doctor and that’s normal if you feel that way, too!)

Look, I don’t agree with other practitioners in my space who are against conventional medicine or think doctors aren’t needed. COME ON. 🙄

I personally help my clients communicate and collaborate better with their providers, while giving the support and care I’m trained to provide!

Functional nutrition *can* be complimentary to medicine. It’s not either/or.

So if you’re looking for comprehensive and personalized nutrition and wellness guidance— especially through a holistic lens that honors data, your life as a mom, and all the puzzle pieces of your health— let’s work together! 👋🏼

❤️ You can comment “support” to explore my 1:1 services or just shoot me a DM to chat about your symptoms and goals. My inbox is always open!

Oh and good moms lose their s**t sometimes, too.

Disclaimer: I’m not a mental health professional.

However, I am a functional nutrition practitioner who works through a nervous system lens, and mental health comes up in my work all the time, because you really can’t separate it from your physical health.

Plus, I’m also a mom who’s been in it.

I’ve struggled with my own mental health at various points of my life (including pre-kids).

I’ve tried powering through on my own, stayed quiet when I needed support, been too hard on myself for not being able to “fix” things, and explored a lot of different kinds of help (some amazing, some not so much).

So when I say I get it, I really do.

Over time, I started realizing that a lot of what I was experiencing wasn’t just mental or emotional, it was also physiological.

My mental health symptoms were loudest when my body was depleted, dysregulated, and doing its best to keep up. This is where things like minerals, gut health, and blood sugar

➡️ Swipe through for some things I wish all moms knew AKA I wish I knew sooner.

TL;DR: Your mood isn’t just about mindset, stress is complex including how it can affect you, and struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing... but you have more control than you may have been led to believe.

📣 If you need mental health support, please don’t wait to reach out.

You can call The National Maternal Mental Health Hotline at 1-833-TLC-MAMA or PSI’s HelpLine at 1-800-944-4773.

And of course, if you want a root-cause focused, non-judgemental practitioner who can zoom out to look at the whole picture and provide nutritional guidance that’s tailored to your specific needs and current capacity, I’m your girl. 👋🏼
