Becca is one of GBS’ fantastic Clinical Mental Health Counseling Interns! As a former teacher, Becca brings a unique perspective to the counseling process, drawing on her experience working with children and families to create a supportive, understanding, and collaborative environment for her clients.

As a reminder, GBS offers sliding-scale counseling rates with our graduate interns, making quality mental health support more accessible to individuals and families in our community.

All graduate interns work under the direct supervision of GBS Owner & Director, Emily Vanderpool.

🎨 Introducing Creative Kids Club! 🌟

Sometimes kids have big feelings that are hard to put into words. Creative Kids Club gives children ages 7–10 a fun, supportive space to express themselves, build confidence, and develop healthy ways to manage their emotions—all through creativity and art.

Led by Lindsay Bartholomew, A-LPC/MHSP, this expressive arts group will use engaging, age-appropriate activities to help children strengthen emotional awareness, practice coping and self-regulation skills, and feel more confident expressing themselves.

**It's not too late to register-- There are spots still open in our Girls' Creative Kids Club!

Welcome, Lindsay Freeman, A-LPC/MHSP to our team!

Lindsay specializes in Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, and Domestic Abuse, and also supports those navigating anxiety and depression. She approaches therapy with compassion and without judgment, creating a space where you can be honest about what you are experiencing without feeling like you have to have it all figured out.

Teen Girls Processing Group

A space to connect, receive validation & grow.

Being a teenager can feel complicated. Friendships, school pressure, family relationships, social media, self-esteem, and big emotions can sometimes feel overwhelming—especially when it feels like no one else understands.

Our Girls Grow Together Group provides a supportive, licensed therapist-led space where teens can connect with peers, talk through real-life challenges, and discover that they aren’t alone in what they’re experiencing.

Through conversation, connection, and guided support, teens can work on:

Building confidence and self-esteem
Navigating friendships and relationships
Managing anxiety, stress, and difficult emotions
Setting healthy boundaries
Improving communication
Coping with school and social pressures
Feeling more connected

This isn’t a class—it’s a place for real conversations, meaningful connection, and growth.
