Today, I had the pleasure of speaking at Ebenezer Baptist Church’s Women’s Conference, celebrating women of faith! 💚
My topic was “I Am My Sister’s Keeper.” We discussed not only our responsibility to uplift, encourage, and look out for our sisters in Christ, but also the importance of caring for ourselves in the process.
Even Jesus rested. He withdrew, embraced stillness, and took time to recharge. We must remember that we are not called to work ourselves into exhaustion while pouring into everyone else. You cannot neglect yourself in the name of serving others.
And let me tell you, speaking to strong Black women is MY JAM! 🙌🏾 I could literally do this every day! There is something so powerful about creating spaces where women feel seen, heard, challenged, and empowered.
I truly believe part of my assignment is to uplift women, shift mindsets, and remind us that strength does not require self-neglect.
Thank you, Ebenezer Baptist Church, for the opportunity to pour into such an amazing group of women! 💚✨
