Last week, our residents spent time together making crafts and enjoying a fun afternoon filled with creativity, conversation, and plenty of smiles 😊

Craft activities are a great way to stay engaged, exercise creativity, and spend quality time with friends. Best of all, residents get the satisfaction of seeing their hard work come together into something beautiful they can proudly display or share with loved ones. 🌟

At Greencroft Goshen, there is always something fun happening, and it's wonderful to see our residents embracing new activities and enjoying time together.

☀️🌱 Summer is off to a wonderful start at The Cottages! 🌱☀️

Last week, our residents stayed busy enjoying a variety of fun seasonal activities that brought smiles, creativity, and a little time outdoors.

We planted vegetables that were generously donated by Tammy Gurber, giving residents the chance to get their hands in the soil and help kick off this year's growing season. 🥕🍅🌿

The fun didn't stop there! Residents also made delicious cake pops, which were just as enjoyable to decorate as they were to eat. 🍰😋 And for our feathered friends, we created homemade bird feeders using apples and peanut butter, providing a tasty treat for the birds that visit our outdoor spaces. 🐦🍎

🌸🌿 Gardening season is in full bloom at Greencroft Goshen Health Care! 🌿🌸

Recently, our residents have been enjoying time outdoors planting flowers and adding beautiful pops of color to our campus. With sunshine overhead and fresh air all around, it has been the perfect opportunity to get outside, get active, and enjoy one of the season's favorite pastimes. ☀️😊

Gardening is about so much more than flowers. It provides a chance to connect with nature, spend time with friends, stay engaged, and experience the joy of watching something grow. From choosing plants to getting their hands in the soil, our residents have loved being part of the process. 🌼🌱

We're excited to watch these flowers flourish throughout the summer and bring even more beauty to our community. Great job to all of our resident gardeners! 💚

It was a perfect day to go fishing! 🎣☀️💙

Recently, residents from our Health Care community enjoyed a wonderful outing to the Greencroft pond, spending time outdoors, casting a line, and taking in the beauty of nature. Whether the fish were biting or not, the smiles, fresh air, and peaceful surroundings made the day a success! 🌿😊

We're especially grateful to the Greencroft Foundation for helping make moments like these possible through the addition of new nature paths around our woodland areas. These accessible pathways allow more residents—including those using wheelchairs—to enjoy the scenic beauty of our campus and experience the outdoors in new ways. ♿🌳✨

Last month, Greencroft Goshen residents enjoyed an unforgettable group outing to the beautiful Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park! 🌸🦋☀️

It was a wonderful day filled with sunshine, laughter, and plenty of amazing sights—from breathtaking flowers and lush garden spaces to colorful butterflies and incredible sculptures. Residents had an absolute blast exploring, taking photos, and making special memories together.

A heartfelt thank you to Greencroft, Amy Wilhelm at the Community Center, and Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park for helping make this fantastic adventure possible! 💚

The other day, the Greencroft Foundation proudly hosted a CNA Certification Completion and Pinning Ceremony celebrating students from Goshen Community Schools as they take exciting steps toward careers in healthcare and nursing 💚🎓

This special event honored the hard work, compassion, and dedication of students completing the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program through the Greencroft Academy of Health Sciences partnership. It was a meaningful evening filled with celebration, encouragement, and excitement for the future of healthcare in our region.

“My healthcare career began as a CNA, and I know firsthand the difference these caregivers make every day,” said Hugh Davis, President and CEO of Greencroft Communities. “We are proud of these graduates and excited to see the impact they will have through compassionate service and care for others.”

We are incredibly proud of these students and grateful to everyone who helped support and encourage them along the way. The future of compassionate healthcare is bright, and we are honored to play a small role in helping these future caregivers succeed. 💚👏✨
