🌎✈️ Amazing Race: Mexico 🇲🇽 & The Netherlands 🇳🇱 ✈️🌎

We ventured off to Mexico 🇲🇽 on Tuesday. Mexico brought plenty of fun and friendly competition! Our residents tackled a Mayan/Aztec inspired puzzle challenge 🧩 and laughed til our bellies ached with a classic game of Pin the Tail on the Donkey 🫏🎯.

On Wednesday, we traveled to the Netherlands! 🌷 Our residents put their senses to the test during our Dutch Cheese Sorting Challenge, where they tasted and smelled different cheeses to see if they could determine the type. 🧀 Then it was time for our Tulip Field Memory Challenge! 🌷

One of the highlights of the day was a special presentation from one of our very own residents, who shared and showcased some of his Dutch paintings with the group. 🎨🇳🇱 It was such a meaningful way to bring personal experiences, art, and culture into our journey.

From Mexico to the Netherlands, our Amazing Race is proving that adventure has no age limit! 🌎❤️

🌏✈️ DAY 1: CHINA 🇨🇳 ✈️🌏

Our Amazing Race adventure is officially underway, and we kicked things off by traveling to China! 🇨🇳🎒

Our residents arrived ready for their journey with their very own packed luggage and passports, plus some fun airplane refreshments to get them ready for takeoff! ✈️🥤

Once we landed, the competition began! 🏆 We put our teams to the test with a chopstick challenge 🥢 and a dumpling eating contest 🥟. It was definitely a race to the finish!

💗 Pink Team and 💙 Blue Team are currently TIED! 👏🔥 The competition is already getting intense!

We also had a special visit from Tim, who gave us an awesome 3D printer demonstration! Residents enjoyed seeing how technology can turn an idea into something you can actually hold in your hands. 🖨️✨

What an incredible first stop on our global adventure! 🌎✈️

🍼💗 What a beautiful day celebrating our sweet Ashley and her growing family! 💕 After 6 amazing years as part of our StoryPoint family, Ashley truly deserved to be showered with love, laughter, and a little extra spoiling! 🎀 Ashley originally joined us on the kitchen team, but during her pregnancy, she came over to lend a hand with Life Enrichment—and our residents have absolutely loved having her with us! 🥰

We had such a fun time celebrating together! Our residents got in on the fun with games, including a hilarious baby food flavor guessing game 😂🍼.

Thank you to Let’s Kreate Event Decor for delivering us yet another AMAZING balloon arch. It really helped bring this event together.

We are so grateful for Ashley and all she brings to our community, and we cannot wait to meet her newest little blessing! 💗

🌱 Our residents had such a wonderful time during a private visit to Square Roots, an ECA (Environmentally Controlled Agriculture) facility! 🌿

We had the opportunity to tour the different growing containers and experience the unique environments where their greens are grown. It was fascinating to see how technology and agriculture come together to create fresh, local produce! 🥬✨

And the best part? We got to taste some of the greens grown right there at Square Roots! 😋🌱

We are so grateful for our Gordons Food Service rep for helping arrange this amazing outing and a special thanks to our tour guide Jeremy and all the farmers/scientists for their hospitality. Our residents truly enjoyed this one-of-a-kind outing! 💚

Yesterday was all about helping our ladies feel beautiful! 💄💖 A huge thank you to Kathy for spending time with our Memory Care residents and treating them to wonderful makeovers. From fresh makeup to heartfelt conversations, she helped each resident feel special, confident, and pampered.

It’s amazing how something as simple as a makeover can spark joy, encourage self-expression, and bring back cherished memories of getting dressed up. Thank you, Kathy, for sharing your kindness and helping make today so memorable. Our residents absolutely loved being spoiled! ✨💕

This month, StoryPoint Group communities like ours will take part in a week-long adventure inspired by The Amazing Race. Residents will form teams, earn points, take on challenges, and navigate twists and turns as they race their way through the week.

Ready. Set. Race! 🏁🌎 We’re kicking off one of our biggest events of the year: Amazing Race!

This August, StoryPoint Group communities will take part in a week-long adventure inspired by The Amazing Race. Residents will form teams, earn points, take on challenges, and navigate twists and turns as they race their way through the week.

No two races will look exactly alike. Each community will create its own destinations, challenges, and experiences — making every adventure unique.

Our residents and staff played a hilarious game of “I Trust My Residents!” Staff bravely balanced plastic cups on their heads while residents used pool noodles to knock the cups off—without bonking the person underneath! 🥤🥢 There were plenty of laughs, a few close calls, and lots of cheering as everyone tested their aim 🎯😂❤️

Tia’s hard work, dedication, and positive attitude make a difference every single day. She takes great pride in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and fellow team members.
