DSAWM Employment Workshop

This workshop is especially valuable as many individuals with disabilities face barriers to employment, but connecting with the right resources can help create long-term success and independence. We are grateful to our community partners IKUS Life Enrichment Services, Beyond26 Inc., and AIM To Inspire for providing resources and guiding this conversation.

While the content is geared toward adults, anyone is welcome to attend.

"I had the most amazing 30 minutes this morning receiving $571 from the 3 young ladies pictured at Hudsonville High School. They are in a freshman "Life Enrichment" class where they were given $5 and challenged to turn it into something more for a local nonprofit. Evelynn, Alexa and Finley raised $571 for Beyond26 by challenging family and soliciting neighbors. Each one has a story about neighbors or family that have disabilities. It made it easy to talk about and raise money for Beyond26. I gave each a business card and told them to come volunteer or work for Beyond26 someday.

We are so proud of Elizabeth’s independence and the dedication she brings to her work every day. She is a true example of why we are committed to providing the job coaching and advocacy needed to help our participants thrive.

Big news! 🚐 Yesterday, we officially celebrated the arrival of our new 15-passenger van with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony!

We are overwhelmed by the incredible generosity of the CARWM members. Thanks to the CAR Cares campaign, over $30,000 was raised to make this purchase possible!
