Self Care for Mental Health 🧠🫂

🟢 Tip #8: It’s Okay to Ask for Help

You don’t have to carry everything on your own. Reaching out for support—whether it’s to a friend, family member, or professional—is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Asking for help can lighten the load and remind you that you’re not alone in what you’re going through.

Today’s reminder: support is meant to be shared, and it’s okay to lean on others!

🦠The headlines about hantavirus have slowed down lately, but you still might have questions about it.

📰Our May edition of the Healthy Herald explains what you need to know about this family of viruses, and why an outbreak on a cruise ship this month is NOT the start of the next pandemic.

Last week, we had the honor of receiving an award from the Wisconsin Public Health Association for Excellence in Health Promotion & Disease Prevention.

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to take a group photo to celebrate the recognition! Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach was kind enough to stop by our all-staff training day at the Green Bay Botanical Garden to thank us for our work and motivate our efforts to serve the community moving forward.

Our thanks to the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute for providing the informative and engaging training sessions! Some of these photos show our breakout groups at work.

And yes, we saved a little time to stop and smell the flowers. 💮🌻🌹
