We were excited to welcome the youth from Asbury United Methodist Church of Orange Park Youth Ministries as part of their Shred for Good Tour during Youth Week activities!

The group toured our warehouse, learned about the Shred for Good program, and had the opportunity to meet our Project Manager, Patrick, and Shred employee, Noura. They asked lots of thoughtful questions and showed great interest in the work we do.

We hope they left with a better understanding of the importance of secure document destruction, the positive environmental impact of paper recycling, and the many ways Challenge Enterprises supports and empowers individuals through meaningful employment opportunities and community programs.

As a new school year begins, students with disabilities have exciting opportunities to gain valuable workplace experience, build independence, and develop skills for life after graduation.

Through a partnership between Clay County School District (CCSD), Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), and Challenge Enterprises, our work-based learning transition programs provide hands-on training, real-world experiences, and individualized support to help students successfully transition into adulthood and the workforce.

Current Off-Site Transition Programs:

✅ Project SEARCH
✅ CTE WOLF
✅ CTE BEARS

Students interested in a transition program are encouraged to contact their CCSD Transition Specialist or VR Counselor to learn more about available opportunities. Challenge Enterprises is an approved vendor with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) and may provide services to Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) participants.

Together, we're helping students discover their strengths, achieve their goals, and prepare for a successful future.

At Challenge Enterprises, we’re dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities through meaningful work and personalized services. In partnership with the Florida Department of Education, Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), and the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD), we offer a wide range of supports under the Medicaid Waiver Services Agreement. We are an approved vendor with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) and may provide services to Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) participants.

Through these partnerships and services, we help individuals develop skills, achieve greater independence, pursue employment opportunities, and reach their personal goals. Services include:
