Sometimes people come into your life at exactly the moment you need them most.
A couple of weeks ago, our tractor—the heartbeat of so much of what we do at Waterwell Farms—needed rescuing. Without it, we couldn't continue maintaining the farm, building our retreat space, or growing the fresh, healthy food that reaches so many people in our community.
We posted here in this group and, Bill Howe of Gearhead mechanical worx reached out and came to help the very next day.
What happened next is nothing short of amazing.
Bill donated more than $1,500 worth of his time, skill, and labor to get our tractor back up and running. When we tried to pay him, he wouldn't accept a dime. He simply said he felt it was what God had called him to do—that it had been placed on his heart.
That's the kind of generosity that reminds you what community is really about.
Because of Bill's kindness, our tractor is back to doing what it was meant to do—helping us grow healthy food, expand our retreat space, and continue serving families throughout our community.
Bill, thank you for believing in our mission, for answering that calling, and for reminding us that one person's willingness to help can create a ripple effect that reaches far beyond what any of us can see.
