"I have been very happy with the young man who came to stay with my husband three hours a day twice a week. He was very kind, he listened when my husband or I spoke to him, and he showed that my husband was his friend. I trusted him in our home. He had a sense of humor, and he always told my husband he was happy to see him. Our young man was always on time and showed that he truly cared. What a blessing!"

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our Visiting Angels team is showing our support for the coworkers, clients, family members, and friends who have faced breast cancer. We honor those who have fought, celebrate the strength of survivors, and remember those we’ve lost.

Together, we wear pink to spread awareness, show support, and remind those facing breast cancer that they are not alone. 🩷

We are proud to recognize Troy Hollabaugh, our Hanover Angel of the Month for October 2026!

Troy joined the Hanover office in January 2026 and has been a tremendous asset to our team. He came to Visiting Angels with previous experience providing companionship and skilled care to individuals living with Cerebral Palsy. He has demonstrated compassion, reliability, and a genuine desire to help others which he’s done almost his entire adult life.

Many of our clients know Troy as one of our dependable overnight caregivers. When not working at Giant, he is often stepping in to provide exceptional care and support to our clients. Troy especially enjoys working with our male clients, listening to their stories and learning from their life experiences.

Troy recently completed our PASSAGES dementia training program to better serve clients living with memory loss and dementia.

When asked why he chose Visiting Angels, Troy simply said he wanted to help people. We can confidently say he has exceeded that goal and continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients every day.

Troy earned his degree from HACC and completed his Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Penn State University. He is the proud father of three adult sons who live in the Lewisberry area.

When not working, Troy enjoys playing games on his phone, listening to his Bible app, and, of course, catching up on sleep. As Troy says, it's the perfect recipe for staying out of trouble! Troy has a dream of saving enough money to visit
friends and admire the beautiful architecture of Moscow.
