Wellstone Health Partners is a large multispecialty physician group affiliated with Seton Medical Center Harker Heights with offices in Killeen, Harker Heights and Belton. Wellstone Health Partners also has Primary Care offices in Killeen, Harker Heights and Belton. Many offices are conveniently located next to SMCHH in the Medical Pavilion. The group consists of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Urology, Gastroenterology, Orthopedics, General Surgery and ENT/Audiology. Wellstone also has Nurse Practitioners that support both our Primary Care and Specialty physicians and a Registered Dietitian on staff for consults. Our team of professionals is here to provide for all of your healthcare needs.

Exciting progress continues at our South Campus development!

With exterior construction advancing and interior finishes taking shape, we're one step closer to bringing expanded healthcare access to our community. Once complete, South Campus will feature a 24/7 Emergency Department and primary and specialty care services, providing convenient access to care close to home.

We're grateful to our construction partners and everyone working diligently to bring this vision to life. We can't wait to welcome patients, providers and team members into this beautiful new space.

Congrats to Tahje Houston, our August Power of One Award winner!

Tahje was nominated by staff for her outstanding teamwork, compassion and unwavering commitment to supporting both her colleagues and patients during challenging circumstances.

Recently, the Emergency Department faced an especially demanding shift, with patient rooms full, EMS arrivals continuing to increase and a growing waiting room. With staffing stretched thin, the triage nurse was left managing the front independently. Despite having a full assignment of her own, Tahje immediately stepped forward to help, offering support wherever it was needed and helping ensure patient care continued to flow smoothly.

Tahje's willingness to assist without hesitation, recognition or being asked demonstrates the selfless attitude that makes such a meaningful difference to her team. Her calm presence, compassionate approach and dedication during stressful situations remind those around her that they are never facing challenges alone. Tahje’s actions strengthen the Emergency Department and reinforce the supportive culture we strive to create every day.
