🎨 NO V**E NOVEMBER POSTER CONTEST! 🎨
Last year, students across our East Tennessee region turned in 232 posters, and alot of those came from Roane County! Even better, 2 of our own students took 1st and 2nd place in the region! 🏆 And went on to compete at state level at TNSTRONG SUMMIT!
This year, we want to go even bigger. Our goal is to get more Roane County students involved and bring home all three regional spots! 🥇🥈🥉
If you’re in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade, this is your chance to use your creativity to educate others about the dangers of va**ng.
🖍️ What can you make?
Create a hand-drawn educational poster focusing on one of these topics:
• Physical health
• Mental health
• Environmental impact
3 county winners will receive a 3D printer pen
Those county winners will move on to the region, where:
1st place wins a laptop
2nd place wins an iPad
3rd place wins a smartwatch
📋 A few important rules:
• Posters must be 22 × 28 inches
• Include at least 2 facts about the dangers of va**ng
• Use credible sources and list them on the back
• Include your name, grade, school, and citations on the back
• No digital art or AI-generated images
• One entry per student
📅 Deadline: November 9th
The top three posters in each county and region will be selected based on the contest rubric.
Let’s show the region what Roane County can do! If you have a student who loves to draw, create, or speak up about important issues, encourage them to enter. We’d love to see even more of our students represented this year!
