Meet the Teacher: Ms. Mare! 🌸🪨

Help us celebrate our Pre-Kindergarten Co-Teacher, Ms. Mare!

If you know her, you know she brings so much laughter and heart to our classroom. What does she love most about working with families and kids? The funny conversations! This week she was playing doctor with a student, the little one looked in her ear and when Ms. Mare asked what she could see — she said “potatoes!” 😂

A little about Ms. Mare:
Her favorite “flower” is flour tortillas (we love it), her hobby is collecting rocks with her kiddos, and she’s fueled by Code Red Mtn Dew, Iced Vanilla Berry Redbull, Chipotle Bowls, Yellow Starburst, and Cookies & Cream Hershey Bars.

Fun fact: She doesn’t have a favorite flower — and now we know why!

We’re so grateful to have Ms. Mare on our FACE team. Drop some love for her below! 👇💛

Meet Ms. Natasha! 🌿✨

Ms. Natasha is our Family Enrichment Advocate (homevisitor), and we are so lucky to have her! One of her favorite parts of this work is watching babies and kids come into their own personalities — she says those little moments are pure magic.

A little about her: She doesn’t love bugs, but she LOVES hiking and being outside. In the winter you’ll probably find her snowmobiling, and any time she can sneak in a good book and a Mt. Dew, she’s happy. Her favorite flower is the lily, and she’ll never say no to pasta, fresh bread, or any comfort food. 🤍

She’s here to support families with a calm, welcoming space — no judgment, just encouragement.

If you see her, be sure to say hello! ❄️

Meet the Teacher: Ms. Liz! 🌸🐷

If you have a Pre-K little one, you know Ms. Liz and her big smile! She’s our Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher and she brings so much joy and love to our classroom every single day.

What she loves most: “Seeing kids master a concept! Also getting to know the families.” And we love watching those light-bulb moments happen.

Fun facts you might not know: She LOVES pigs — she collects them! — and loves camping, reading, and sipping cinnamon tea. ☕️📚

You’ll often find her celebrating the little wins, which are really the BIG wins for our little learners.

Favorite flower: Lilacs | Snack: Chips & Dip | Candy: M&M’s

We are SO lucky to have her on our FACE team! Drop a 🐷 or 💕 in the comments to make her day.

Let’s give a warm welcome to Ms. Tonia! 🩷

If you’ve been part of our Adult Ed program, you probably already know her kind heart. But if not, Tonia is our Adult Ed / Coordinator and is one of the reasons families are loving FACE!

When she’s not supporting families, you can find her crafting, organizing, spending time with family, or listening to a good suspense audiobook — the more twists, the better! 😉

We are so grateful to have her on our team. If you see her, be sure to say boozhoo!

Fun favorites: Lilacs, Mountain Dew, and all the crunchy snacks — chips & salsa, popcorn, Gardettos, Goldfish, you name it!
