Julie is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, evidence-based care in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment.

She works with individuals of all ages, from young children to older adults, and is passionate about helping people navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood concerns, life stressors, and other mental health challenges. Julie believes in meeting people where they are and building a strong therapeutic relationship that supports lasting growth and wellness.

After more than 10 years serving our community through ACE Psychological Services, this nonprofit represents a dream that Jeremy and Amynda have carried in their hearts for a long time.

What began as a vision to help care for people more fully has grown into a mission focused on expanding access to healing, hope, support, and community care for individuals and families facing emotional or financial hardship.

We are incredibly grateful for the people, relationships, and community that have supported ACE throughout the years and helped make this vision possible.

Sometimes healing looks different than we expected. Shared with permission from one of our clients. 💚

“I'm 61 years old and spent years wondering why my faith wasn't healing my anxiety.

I prayed every morning. Read Scripture every night. Went to church every Sunday. I trusted God completely… and still woke up anxious, exhausted, and overwhelmed.

I started believing something was wrong with me spiritually.

Then I learned something life-changing:

God designed our nervous systems to return to peace, but trauma, chronic stress, and years of carrying too much can keep the body stuck in survival mode.

That doesn’t mean your faith is weak.

Through EMDR therapy with Amynda at ACE Psychological Services, I began learning how to process triggers, calm my nervous system, and finally receive the peace I had been praying for all along.

I still pray every day. I still lean on my faith. But now my body can actually rest too.

If you’ve been praying for peace but still feel stuck in anxiety, fear, or exhaustion… maybe you’re not failing spiritually. Maybe your nervous system needs healing too.

God wants peace for you. Therapy may be one of the ways He brings it.” 🙏💙
