On Tuesday, we celebrated National Coffee Day! Our staff enjoyed a variety of creamer flavors to customize their perfect cup of coffee. It was the perfect way to welcome the cozy flavors and cooler temperatures of fall! ☕

Last week, we wrapped up summer with a fun and tasty celebration! Our Speech Therapist, Physical Therapist, and Activities Coordinator teamed up to prepare chicken salad and tuna salad sandwiches, along with hot tea, for our residents and staff to enjoy.

It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together, enjoy some good food and spend time with one another. We had a great time celebrating the end of summer together!

Last week, we celebrated National Environmental Services Week and finished the week with a delicious cookout! A big thank you to our management team for preparing a wonderful spread for everyone to enjoy, including hamburgers and hot dogs, chicken kabobs, chili, taco dip, pasta salad, potato salad, chips, brownies, cookies, and banana pudding.

Most importantly, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible Environmental Services team. Their hard work and dedication help keep our building sparkling clean, comfortable, and welcoming for our residents each day. We truly appreciate all that they do! 💙

This week, we are celebrating National Environmental Services Week!

We want to give a big thank you to the five amazing team members who work hard every day to keep our building clean, comfortable, and welcoming for our residents, families, and staff. To show our appreciation, each team member received a gift bag filled with goodies, including hand sanitizer, face masks, lotion, pens, bracelets, and candy.

Karen, our Environmental Services Coordinator, leads her team by example. She has been part of the Altercare team since August 2013 and has gone above and beyond for our residents since day one. She takes the time to build personal connections with residents and their families and is a wonderful example of what it means to lead with dedication and care.

Kaylee, Aeryn, Dynasty, and Jessica are the hardworking team members behind the scenes who help keep our building clean, fresh, and inviting each day. Their hard work often happens behind the scenes, but it makes a tremendous difference in the experience of everyone who walks through our doors.

A gift bag is certainly not enough to express how much we appreciate everything this team does, but we were happy to celebrate them with a small token of our gratitude. Thank you, ladies, for all that you do! 💙

With the first day of fall right around the corner, we decided to warm things up with a delicious Soup Bar! Our management team put their cooking skills to work, preparing a variety of homemade soups for everyone to enjoy:

Earlier this week, our Staff Coordinator surprised our team with a random day of appreciation! She put together a spread featuring some of our staff favorites, including cheese, crackers, pepperoni, salami, pickles, olives, strawberries, blueberries, and SunChips.

It was a delicious treat for everyone to enjoy throughout the day and a wonderful way to show our team just how much we appreciate all they do! 💙

Last weekend, Activities Coordinator Cindy, with the help of aides June and Sarah, took a group of residents to the Midland Theater to enjoy a performance of Grease! Everyone had a wonderful time, especially singing along to all the familiar songs. It was a fun outing filled with music, smiles, and great memories!
