Resident council is an important part of life here at Arlington. Residents who choose to be a part of Resident Council come together on a monthly basis to discuss life at Arlington. They discuss things that are going good, as well things they would like to see added or changed, especially in regards to activities or our menu. “I feel like we get a lot of things accomplished,” remarked our resident, Shirley. She continued, “like if we don’t like the food on the menu, they listen to us and change it.”
Our Resident Council president, Eddie, has held the role for 7 years and takes much pride in his position. Another resident, Sam, described the council as “community and love.”
