A big thank you to the students of CR Anderson Middle School for supporting cancer patients at St. Peter's Health. πŸ’šπŸ’™

Students recently presented the St. Peter's Health Foundation with a check for $1,346.20, raised through their annual hot chocolate fundraiser. From creating a marketing campaign and designing posters to running the booth, managing the sales and learning how to deposit funds, these students took ownership of every step of the project.

Their generosity will help provide comforting K-cups for patients receiving cancer treatments at St. Peter's Health, helping make a difficult day a little brighter.

Thank you to the students, as well as advisors Dana Richards and Elizabeth McClure, for pouring your hearts into helping others. Your hard work and kindness are making a meaningful difference in our community. β˜•οΈπŸ©΅

πŸŽ‰ Congratulations to Skye Dahl, our June Employee of the Month! πŸŽ‰

Skye, a Community Health Worker at St. Peter's Health, was recognized for going above and beyond to help an elderly patient in need.

When one of our patients faced challenges that extended beyond healthcare, Skye stepped in without hesitation. She delivered a hot meal, assisted the patient with showering, helped clear away accumulated trash and cleaned the home to create a safer environment for mobility.

As the provider who nominated her shared, "None of these tasks fall within the standard scope of a Community Health Worker's duties. Skye chose to do them anyway, because she understood what this patient needed in that moment and acted without hesitation."

Thank you, Skye for demonstrating what it means to serve others with kindness, initiative and dedication. Your actions made a meaningful difference in the life of a patient and exemplify of our mission every day. πŸ’šπŸ’™
