Jack's story doesn't have a neat resolution — and he's sharing it anyway, because he knows other people are in the middle of the same fight and feeling completely alone.

It started with a hike in the Grand Canyon, then a series of sports injuries. Pain in his right lower back, glute and piriformis that started as an annoyance and slowly took over everything.
