Breast augmentation and a breast lift combined is one of Dr. Shah's most customized procedures. Customization starts the moment the implant is placed. 🪷

The procedure is called an augmentation mastopexy. Once the implant is in position, Dr. Shah determines where the ni**le should naturally sit for that specific patient. From there, the lift technique depends entirely on how much sagging is present.

For women who have undergone a mastectomy or other breast cancer treatment, breast reconstruction may be an option to restore breast shape and symmetry.
Reconstruction may involve implants, the patient's own tissue, or a combination of techniques. The appropriate approach depends on factors such as previous cancer treatment, available tissue, anatomy, and the patient's individual circumstances.
Reconstruction can sometimes be performed at the time of mastectomy or may be performed at a later stage.

There’s a gray area between liposuction and a tummy tuck. 🔎

Not every patient fits neatly into one category.

Sometimes there is enough skin laxity that liposuction alone may not produce the desired result, but that doesn’t automatically mean a tummy tuck is the next step.
That’s where the examination matters.

Dr. Shah looks at the amount of fat present, skin laxity, BMI, and the patient’s individual anatomy. For certain patients with borderline loose skin, technologies such as VASER or Renuvion may also be incorporated to support skin tightening. Other patients may ultimately benefit from a tummy tuck, liposuction, or a combination.

It’s less about choosing between two procedures and more about understanding what the tissue actually needs.

Here is something most people do not know about BBL results. 👇
