I had the very blessed opportunity to be this angel mommas midwife with her pregnancy. Receiving news of cancer while pregnant is something no mother should have to go through. Monica accepted this news with such grace and faith. My heart is so heavy with her passing and for her sweet family. Today we honor the sacred calling of midwives. 🤍 This work is so much more than a profession—it is a life poured out in service. Long days, sleepless nights, missed holidays, and constant availability… all to ensure mothers are seen, supported, and cared for in one of the most vulnerable and powerful seasons of their lives.
Midwifery is deeply personal.
It is built on trust, relationship, and presence.
It is walking closely with women—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
From the very beginning, midwives have carried courage and conviction.
“The midwives, however, feared God and did not do what the king of Egypt had told them to do; they let the boys live.” — Exodus 1:17
Their bravery reminds us that this work has always been sacred.
Rooted in faith.
Guided by wisdom.
Dedicated to protecting life.

2025 marks my 13th year as a midwife, and time truly does fly.
I love this calling—the sleepless nights, the tears of both joy and sorrow, the sweet babies, and the strong, warrior mamas. Each and every family I am blessed to walk alongside on this journey is so precious to me. Words don’t quite express how thankful I am.
To every family: thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. Thank you for trusting me, and thank you for your grace. This calling is something I deeply love, and it is such a huge part of who I am.
