Our West Henderson Hospital team continues to fundraise for the October 24 American Heart Association - Nevada Heart Walk! Our surgery director, Janine, recently organized a "fun" raiser raffle featuring 13 themed baskets, from Chick-fil-A to fall treats, nuts, gift cards and even a basket of cash!

The ER of Southern Highlands, our first freestanding emergency department, is coming along! Located at the corner of Cactus and Schirlls, it will open in Spring 2027 and feature multiple treatment rooms, an on-site lab and imaging services, including X-ray, CT scan and ultrasound! Best of all, it will be open 24/7/365!

Family First Friday at West Henderson Hospital - what a great evening of community and connection! We were proud to partner with GiGi's Playhouse Las Vegas, a Down Syndrome Achievement Center that provides FREE educational and therapeutic programs while also supporting families. All funds raised during the evening went directly to support this wonderful organization and all the work they do!

Our event also brought families together for an evening featuring a Mustang Car Club, food trucks, live music, local vendors, games and more! We were also happy to welcome and support the American Heart Association - Nevada, featuring the Kids Heart Challenge and the American Heart Challenge. Mark your calendar for our next FREE event - Friday, November 6, from 5 to 8 pm!

October means pumpkins, fall fun and spending time with our community! We had a wonderful time meeting Inspirada residents during their annual Pumpkin Patch festivities last weekend. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and celebrate the season with us!

Our West Henderson Hospital team had a great time at the Henderson Chamber of Commerce Ready Set Expo last month, connecting with many local businesses and members of our community. One of the highlights was hearing from former patients who stopped by to share their stories about the exceptional care and experiences they received at West Henderson Hospital. Moments like these remind us exactly why we do what we do!

We were very honored to be selected as our company's Service Excellence winner in the Acute Care division earlier this year! Our corporate leadership, including Universal Health Services, Inc. - UHS President Marc Miller and EVP Eddie Sim, flew out to personally present the silver cup at our soccer-themed celebration! Thanks to our entire team for your hard work and commitment to achieve this award!

Today, we remember all those affected by the events of October 1, 2017 - concertgoers, rescuers, first responders, health care and hospitality workers who collectively worked to assist those in need.
