Thank you to St. Matts RVA, All Saints RVA and Good Shepherd United Methodist Church for dropping off food today. Summer is a difficult time for donations due to vacations, etc.

🚨🚨🚨Our inventory is critically low. 🚨🚨🚨

We especially need:
Mac & cheese
Hearty soup
Canned green vegetables
Canned beans or dry bagged beans
Canned fruit
Canned or pouch chicken
Cereal
Applesauce and fruit cups
Mashed potatoes

We are called Welborne Community Food Pantry because it is Community that keeps this Food Pantry running. We appreciate your support.

Alerts from some of our smart shoppers:

The Green Giant 4-packs of green peas and green beans are BOGO this week at Publix, so 75 cents a can once you break it down.

Publix has progressive soup bogo so 1.69 a can.

We are definitely in need of green vegetables and hearty soup at this time.

Tonight the Food Pantry served 71 families representing 277 individuals.

🚨🚨🚨At this time, much of our inventory is critically low🚨🚨🚨 How can you help? Spread the word at your church, host a Food drive at your swim meet, or bunco game, family reunion or whatever group you are a part of.

Here are our greatest needs:
Hearty soup
Mac & cheese
Canned chicken
Canned green vegetables
Mashed potatoes
Applesauce and fruit cups
Ramen
Mashed potatoes
Cooking oil

At this time, we have plenty of individual oatmeal packets.

Tonight the Food Pantry served 77 families representing 300 individuals. Thanks to our friends from All Saints RVA for a seamless distribution.

Several of our shelves are bare. We need your help to continue to serve those in need in our community. Here are our greatest needs:

Shelf stable milk
Hearty soup
Canned chicken
Mashed potatoes
Canned green vegetables
Applesauce and fruit cups

1 pound bags of rice
Applesauce and fruit cups
Saltines
Snacks – individual packets of raisins or trail mix or nuts; fruit snacks; granola bars; individual bags of popcorn, or pretzels or goldfish; pop tarts, etc.

We currently do not need individual packets of oatmeal or pet food.

Just a reminder, please do not place bread in the bin in the breezeway. We are not here to feed the squirrels. 🐿️

FYI

Free breakfast and lunch will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for anyone 18 or younger at 29 Henrico sites this summer. Meals will be available at sites on varying dates Monday through Thursday in June and July. Parents and guardians are not eligible to receive meals.
