As a Life Lion Flight Paramedic, you will be part of a critical care transport program that brings advanced care directly to patients across our region. Our crews care for some of the most complex adult, pediatric, neonatal, trauma, medical, and specialty patients while working alongside an exceptional team of nurses, pilots, communication specialists, and Penn State Health providers.

At Life Lion, we do not simply bring patients to care — we bring the expertise, resources, and guidance of Penn State Health directly to the patient.

🍋🚑 When Life Lion is out in the community, sometimes the best stop is a lemonade stand!

This weekend Penn State Health Life Lion EMS crews were out and about in Lebanon County when they had the chance to stop by a local lemonade stand for some fresh lemonade and a few smiles along the way.

Moments like this remind us that is about more than emergency response. It is about connection, community, and being present for the families and neighborhoods we are proud to serve.

Thank you to these young entrepreneurs for the excellent lemonade and for brightening our crew’s day!

🏆 Award-Winning Appearance for Life Lion East Division!

Congratulations to the Penn State Health Life Lion East Division for being recognized as the “Best Appearing EMS Unit” at the Lancaster County Firefighters Parade held in Columbia this Saturday.

Our crew was proud to represent Life Lion and Penn State Health alongside many impressive emergency vehicles, including a classic Cadillac ambulance and a military ambulance. We are honored that this Lancaster County ambulance was selected for recognition!

This award reflects the pride, professionalism, and attention to detail our teams bring not only to special events, but to every patient, every transport, and every community we serve.

Throughout the weekend, the team at Penn State Health Life Lion was proud to support coverage operations for the air show and the incredible U.S. Navy Blue Angels flight team.

Beyond the excitement in the sky, one of the most meaningful moments came on the ground — when members of the Blue Angels visited Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital to spend time with some of our pediatric patients and families.

Events like these reflect the importance of partnership, service, and community. We are honored to work alongside other dedicated professionals who inspire our communities!
