We celebrated Arkansas children's week April 13-17, and it was one for the books! We spent most of the week outside: painting, exploring, playing with chalk and getting messy!
Monday we talked about sunflowers and planted sunflower seeds to grow on our playground π»
Tuesday we took art outside. Everyone was able to be creative with their art. We talked about nature and what we saw around us on the playground for inspiration β

Wednesday we painted flower pots and rocks for our rock snake! Later in the week we planted flower seeds in our freshly painted flower pots and each child was able to take their rock out to add to the rock snake in the flower bed out front! πΌπ
Thursday we had fun painting t-shirts and doing a scavenger hunt on the playground! Everyone was given a card with pictures of items to search for and a bag for their finds! ππ°
Friday we took our items that we gathered during our scavenger hunt on Thursday and made art with air dry clay to take home! We painted bird feeders to take home as well! Friday ended by painting our large flowers that you have probably seen hanging in the hallway! πΈπΌπ΅
