Rescue Beats was born from a second chance at life.

In 2017, our founder, Bill, was running a half marathon when he suddenly suffered a cardiac arrest. What began as a normal race quickly became a life-threatening emergency.

Fortunately, bystanders acted immediately. CPR was started without delay, and an AED was used to restore his heartbeat.

Those critical moments made all the difference.

Without CPR and an AED, Bill would not be here today.

His survival inspired a mission: to empower individuals, families, businesses, schools, and communities with the skills and confidence to respond during a cardiac emergency.

Every CPR class we teach and every AED we place represents another opportunity to save a life.

Because someone was prepared that day, Bill got a second chance.

Now, we're committed to helping others do the same.

You cannot accidentally shock someone who doesn't need it. AEDs are smart, safe, and designed to guide rescuers with simple voice prompts every step of the way.

Don't let fear or misinformation prevent you from taking action in an emergency. An AED, combined with CPR, can significantly increase a person's chance of survival during sudden cardiac arrest.
