Healthy relationships don’t require you to lose yourself to stay connected to someone else. 🫶

Self-differentiation is the ability to stay connected to the people you love without abandoning your own identity, values, feelings, or needs to keep the peace.

It’s being able to disagree without disconnecting, set boundaries without drowning in guilt, and love someone without making yourself responsible for their emotions.

Because **the goal isn’t to become so independent that you don’t need anyone. It’s to be able to love someone deeply without losing yourself in the process.**

That’s what emotional maturity and secure connection look like. ❤️‍🩹

Little girls aren’t always “sweet,” “agreeable,” or easy to understand. Sometimes their behaviors tell a story they don’t yet have the words to explain.

Maybe the question isn’t just “What’s wrong with her?” but “What does she need?”

She wasn’t born knowing how to ask for what she needed. She was figuring it out. ✊🏼💗
