Mute a scary movie and it turns into a guy walking slowly down a hallway. Your ears carry the whole mood. A fun reminder for spooky season of how much hearing does behind the scenes.

This Thanksgiving season, North Houston Hearing Solutions is proud to host a food drive benefiting Restoring Hope at Trinity Lutheran Church. We’re collecting much-needed food items to help local families and individuals enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with a little more hope and a lot more warmth. 🍂

📅 Food Drive: Now through November 13, 2026

We invite our patients, friends, families, and community to join us in making a difference. Every donation—big or small—can help put food on a table and remind someone in our community that they are cared for. ❤️

Let's come together this Thanksgiving and give a little, share a little, and help restore hope.

Thank you for helping us make our community a little brighter this holiday season! 🧡

Hearing affects far more than your ability to follow a conversation.
It can influence how connected you feel to family and friends, how confidently you communicate at work, and how safely you navigate everyday environments.
October is Audiology Awareness Month—a time to learn more about hearing health and the importance of regular hearing care.

👀 Look closely at these two hearing aid filters!

The filter on the left is relatively clean, while the filter on the right is plugged with wax. It may not look like a big difference, but that buildup can interfere with how your hearing aids perform.

Regular cleaning and maintenance are important to keep your hearing devices working at their best. Wax and debris can block sound, reduce volume, affect sound quality, and may even make you think there’s something wrong with your hearing aids.

🧼 A little regular maintenance goes a long way!

✔️ Keep your hearing aids clean
✔️ Check your filters regularly
✔️ Replace wax filters when they become clogged
✔️ Bring your devices in if they aren't performing like they should

Sometimes, the solution to a hearing aid that isn't working quite right is as simple as a fresh, clean filter! 👂

Most people never connect hearing to balance, but the inner ear runs both.
