James Funeral Home

James Funeral Home Helping You Every Step Of The Way You never step foot into a funeral home. Or you can utilize our facility to the fullest extent.

James Funeral Home offers you traditional funeral services in a way that allows you the family to save money and receive the highest quality funeral service possible. Upon your call, we come to the facility or home where the death occurred and the deceased is taken to our funeral home, where necessary preparations are handled, as requested by the family. A licensed funeral director meets with you

in the comfort of your home or at our facility, depending on the families needs and location, to show you the available options and have you sign the necessary authorizations. Our staff takes care of all paperwork, preparations for the service, overseeing the service, obituary placement, and a variety of other tasks. We will bring the deceased and all flowers to the church or facility where you would like to have the visitation and service (if you do not have a church, we have a beautiful chapel on site that you may utilize). That decision is left up to the family. We offer cremation services, graveside, traditional burial and transportation services to other parts of the country or world. If you are interested in pre-planning, we offer a range of options, from pre-paying for the whole service to simply making selections and keeping them on file until needed with no money down. James Funeral Home has a first class staff that will ensure that your needs will be met. Feel free to call for a general price list. (704-584-9004)

We would be happy to sit down with you and go over any questions that you may have.

It is with heavy hearts that we remember and honor Coach Milton Fleming, Ambassador Christian School's Tennis Coach, who passed away this week.

Coach Fleming was more than a coach; he was a mentor, encourager, and role model who invested deeply in the lives of our students. Through his passion for tennis, his unwavering support of his athletes, and his commitment to Christ-centered leadership, he made a lasting impact on our school community.

His dedication, kindness, and servant's heart will not be forgotten. Coach Fleming challenged his players to pursue excellence on the court while demonstrating integrity, perseverance, and faith in every aspect of life.

We are grateful for the time we shared with him and for the legacy he leaves behind in the hearts of our students, families, and staff.

Please join us in praying for Coach Fleming's wife, Natalie, their sons, and all those whose lives were touched by his remarkable influence.

The Fleming family will hold a Celebration of Life service for Milton on Monday, June 22, at 2:00 p.m. at Storyhill Church (490 South Main Street, Davidson, NC).

Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather in the church lobby by the fireplace to share stories and memories of Milton. Whether funny, heartfelt, or simply reflections on how he impacted your life, these stories will be a meaningful gift to his family and a beautiful way to celebrate the legacy he leaves behind. Milton was a gatherer of people, and his family would love to hear about the many lives he touched.

Due to the anticipated attendance, parking at Storyhill Church may be limited. If the church parking lot is full, please drop off guests at the church and park at Davidson Elementary School (635 South Street, Davidson, NC). Shuttle service will be available to transport attendees back to the church.

Forever a Lion. Forever part of the Ambassador Christian School family. šŸ¦šŸ’œ

We have had a busy couple of days of giving back to an industry that we love. John T. Hill has been in Montana for their state association speaking on multiple topics including ā€œexplaining embalming to familiesā€ and Sam has been in Texas speaking at The Southern Cemetery, Crematory and Funeral Association on creating a culture of passion where you serve. We are also thankful for our amazing team at home that has been caring for our local community. All around, we are blessed and encouraged.

I ran across this video this week of my maternal grandmother that is so special. Her health was declining so we asked her 30 minutes worth of questions.... favorite president, favorite Scripture, stories about the children and getting married. She died within 3 months of us recording this. These stories and memories are priceless!
