You’ve probably heard people say, “You’ve been washing your hair, not your scalp.”While that can be true for some people, it’s definitely not true for everyone. Many scalp conditions like psoriasis, dermatitis, folliculitis, or even simple product buildup can be inevitable despite good hygiene. THIS is just one of the parts of a luxury head spa that you don’t usually get to see. Before the shampoo, before the steam, all the other relaxing parts, I gently exfoliate the scalp so I can better assess what we’re working with and tailor the treatment directly to that person’s scalp instead of the build up.
