☀️🦆 It was a HOT one today, but that didn’t stop our ducks from racing! 🦆☀️

We had such a fun time at our Annual Duck Race! Residents gathered along the course to cheer on their ducks as they raced toward the finish line. There was plenty of cheering, laughter, friendly competition, and a whole lot of duck excitement! 😂🏁

The temperatures were high, but so were our spirits! Thank you to everyone who came out, joined in the fun, and helped make today’s race one to remember.

Redstone Resident Spotlight: Gene Clemmons

Meet Gene, a resident since 2025. As a Vietnam veteran and retired chief of training for the Huntsville Fire Department, he lived by the advice, “If you work hard, you can make something of yourself.”

Gene’s whole world is his two kids and five grandchildren. In fact, when he retired, he became so involved helping out with the grandkids that it became a joke that he would need a school bus.

His favorite thing about Redstone Village is that everyone here is so nice and welcoming.
